Warwick Economics Summit 2026 (the “App”) is provided to support the summit experience, including direct interaction with the Q&A platform, session reminders, and adding events to your calendar.

Data we collect

The App may collect and process the following information:

• Push notification token: A device identifier used only to deliver push notifications (e.g., reminders before talks).
• Q&A content (if you submit questions): The text you submit and basic metadata needed to display and moderate questions (e.g., timestamp).
• Technical data: Limited device and app information for operating the service (e.g., app version).

We do not require user accounts and do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.

How we use your data

We use data to:

• deliver push notifications and in-app updates,
• enable Q&A functionality,
• operate and maintain the App.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase to provide database and push notification functionality. Firebase processes data on our behalf to deliver the App features described above.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers (such as Firebase) that help us run the App, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the Summit and App operations. Q&A content and related data may be retained for a limited period after the event for moderation, reporting, or continuity, and then deleted or anonymised.
